Case in Point:
Wimmer Solutions was engaged by a multinational manufacturing
organization to re-design and build its partner-facing web portal
on the industry leading SharePoint platform. This global platform
is used to distribute marketing and technical information on the
client's product line to over 100,000 of its partners in markets
worldwide. Wimmer built a system that allows any of the
organization's global partners to select their location and
language of choice, and then renders targeted content based on
those selections. Content is available in 15 languages, and
local subsidiaries provide specific content that is most relevant
for the local partners, in addition to the worldwide content
provided by the global team. Wimmer is now working on a
complimentary portal to provide similar services to a separate
partner segment.
