A Seattle hospital sought to integrate an educational software
solution to empower patients of all ages to access reliable and
continually updated information about diabetes and other medical
conditions via a user-friendly interface. In order to promote
retention and response to highlighted information, they wished to
present the educational pieces in a series of discrete modules, in
a touchscreen format designed to improve user experience and
facilitate overall ease-of-use.
Wimmer Solutions' project team included an Engagement Director,
Project Manager, and Creative Web Developer. Together, they:
- Designed, developed and launched an innovative, interactive
health-education tool
- Partnered with medical experts to integrate accurate and
engaging educational content (provided in both Spanish and English)
into a series of age-appropriate modules
- Create content-rich, web-based modules with step-by-step
educational pieces
- Provide functional testing, maintenance, and deployment support
for the kiosk tool
