Kicking Back at the Wimmer BBQ
July 31st marked Wimmer Solutions' first annual summer BBQ at
Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. The goal was a laid-back,
fun-filled Sunday afternoon with Wimmer employees and their
families, and that's exactly what we got. Between entertainment
provided by Clowns Unlimited and fabulous mouth-watering BBQ by
Dave's BBQ, it was a huge success!
Our consultants and internal staff munched on homemade local food,
formed teams for volleyball and played classic picnic games like
tug-o-war and potato sack races. There were snow cones and a bouncy
house for the kids, and good clean fun was had by all.
Perhaps best of all, we were happy to evade the not-quite-summer
weather we've been having for most of 2011. We came prepared with a
tent in case of sprinkles, but once the clouds broke in early
afternoon, it was a gorgeous day to be outside - lots of sun and
warm weather
We were so glad it was such a hit, and we can't wait until
2012!
