Winter Pinapple Classic Teams Unite!
On Saturday, November 13, Wimmer
Consultants and corporate staff joined forces to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society by competing in the 2010 Winter
Pineapple Classic, held at North Bend's Mountain Meadows
Farm.
Our six competitors (including three veterans from Wimmer's
2009 contingent) sported grass skirts and Hawai'ian leis and
scrambled over, under and through obstacles strategically arranged
over a 5k cross-country running course, all while carrying a
pineapple. After the race, they enjoyed a traditional luau complete
with hula dancers, who braved the cold for a good cause. In true
Wimmer form, the event was a great chance to support our employees'
investment in the community and their competitive drive while
