Wimmer Solutions Lacrosse places second at the Hawaii Invitational Lacrosse tournament

Team Wimmer Solutions finished second again in a rematch of the championship game from last year. After a hard fought battle Team Wimmer fell 9-8 to the Crease Monkeys in the Men’s Elite Final. Wimmer employees and executives participated in the tournament again including CEO Matt Sauri, CFO Brad Coulter, Tim Rogers our Recruiting Manager, and Recruiter Adam Smith.

Puget Sound Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 is the Northwest’s premier award that
spotlights the next generation of business leaders. Over its nine year history 40
Under 40 has recognized 320 local business leaders with a strong entrepreneurial
spirit, sense of civic leadership and passion for life. On September 14, 2007, the
Puget Sound Business Journal featured a special publication that highlighted the
winners of 40 Under 40 with individual profiles and portraits which included Wimmer
Solutions CEO Matt Sauri.

Friends of Purple Heart recipient and Bronze Star nominee Jesse
Williams have gathered to support the fallen Iraq vet’s family. Team Jesse was formed
by friend and fellow Iraq vet Kevin Mincio to raise money for an education fund
for Williams’ 1yr-old daughter, Amaya.
Playing for Team Jesse this weekend at the
10th Anniversary LAX Las Vegas tournament are 25 players, including pros Nate Watkins
and Tim Booth of the San Francisco Dragons and Adam Hughes of the Chicago Machine.
Wimmer Solutions, a Seattle IT staffing and consulting firm, will donate $1000 for
each Team Jesse win and has several employees playing, including CEO Matt Sauri.
JohnRa Marketing of Boston, MA has donated uniforms. Brandywine Developers of Avalon,
NJ and King Industries of Norwalk, CT have also contributed.
Jesse joined the army
after 9/11 and served two tours in Iraq before his death in April. He was killed
by sniper fire rescuing two soldiers from a burning vehicle after an IED (Improvised
Explosive Device) attack. He was awarded a Purple Heart during his first tour and
nominated for a Bronze Star posthumously.

Wimmer Solutions has
always looked to take on outsourced project services offerings where the opportunities
have made sense in the past. Some of these projects have includes creative web development,
QA and testing, and documentation efforts. Our clients have always been happy with
the results and many have pushed us to take on more projects with even greater responsibilities.
In response we are formalizing our Project Services offerings around a core group
of trusted consultants and internal staff. We expect to announce the new services
soon…

of the area’s largest healthcare providers. Our customer’s goal is to work with
the best vendors to create an alliance that would benefit both companies and reduce
