Meet our September Solution Spotlights

Kaylyn Sneathen

Digital Marketing Manager

Seattle, Washington USA

Kaylyn works in Wimmer Solutions' Marketing Department under Professional Services. With degrees and experience in IT and Marketing, Kaylyn assists with a wide range of projects, including: digital asset creation, online design and development, and internal and external communications such as newsletters, email campaigns, and social media handling. She describes herself as a "creative that can lean into any business need."

"I wear quite a few hats when it comes to online creation for business development. I enjoy working on interaction and experience design the most, due to its use of data and user testing to create the perfect intuitive layout for technology. At the core of interaction design is a thorough knowledge of psychology and the ability to anticipate and build around users' needs, which I find fascinating."

Overall, Kaylyn enjoys being a creative that supports problem solving through design, development, and technical knowledge. She looks forward to helping Wimmer Solutions develop more online solutions that they can proudly display.

Outside of work, Kaylyn is someone that likes to stay on the move. She can be found at the gym most nights, where she and her husband, Jerrett, powerlift (non-competitively). If not in the gym, you can find her skiing or hiking, depending on the season. You can see her hiking buddy and havapoo pup, Roux, in her above photo (She noted that he usually ends up being carried, but he still enjoys their outdoor adventuring from the comfort of his backpack carrier.) When it's time to relax, Kaylyn loves to grab a book and dive into it for an adventure where she can let her own legs rest.

Some of Kaylyn other interests include:

  • Traveling
  • Cooking (and eating! She enjoys trying new foods and restaurant exploring)
  • Drawing and Painting

Thank you Kaylyn, for your handwork and creativity in Marketing. We are so happy to have you on our team!

February Charity Focus: Out & Equal

Noah Blank is Wimmer Solutions' Consulting Business Manager for Professional Services. He nominated Out & Equal for this month's Charity Focus.

Out & Equal is the premier organization working exclusively on LGBTQ workplace equality. Through their worldwide programs, Fortune 500 partnerships and annual Workplace Summit conference, they help LGBTQ people thrive and support organizations creating a culture of belonging for all. Their goal is to transform workplaces, inspire leaders, and galvanize systemic change. Together, they hope to develop truly inclusive cultures—inside our workplaces and out.

Noah has utilized many of their resources in leadership positions in past companies to help promote and educate on DEI in the workplace. He states that Out & Equal provides great resources, in a non-biased way, to allow professionals to better communicate with each other on more personal issues.

"As an openly gay man and professional, I have had to be extremely cognizant of my surroundings and relationships in the workplace. I believe that you shouldn't have to be a different person at work than you are at home. This charity is so important to me because it provides meaningful resources, education, and progress to making workplaces more equitable and inclusive to all people, whether it be their sexual orientation, race, religion, etc. Empowering companies to recognize their diversity and support their employees is so critical in today's world and this charity makes a significant different for companies of all sizes across the world."

Out & Equal partners with some of the country's largest companies, agencies, and organizations to promote workplace equality, specific to the LQBTQ+ community. Out & Equal provides executive leadership development, comprehensive DE&I training and advisory, and professional networking opportunities that build inclusive and welcoming work environments.

Thank you for the amazing resource, Noah, and we are happy to be donating to Out & Equal in your name. We love the nomination for Out & Equal, and the ability to learn about more ways to improve Wimmer's DEI initiatives.

We highly recommend taking a look at Out & Equal's amazing Resource collection >>>
