When it comes to strengthening our neighborhoods and enriching the communities where we work, live, and play, we believe that we all have an opportunity to use our time, talents, and resources to create positive change in the world.
Since 2002, Wimmer Solutions has been committed to investing in the well-being of our community in a variety of ways, from grantmaking to skills based volunteerism to special events that drive awareness of and engagement with our core focus areas; issues that map to what we do – and who we are:
STEM EDUCATION - We invest in work that inspires local students – especially those from low-income and minority backgrounds – to pursue education and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY - Connecting people with meaningful careers is at the heart of what we do. To ensure that everyone is prepared to find fulfilling work, we help low-income and minority youth, veterans, and the families of fallen soldiers access the education and job skills training they need to prepare for a rewarding career
COMMUNITY BUILDING THROUGH SPORT - Athletic engagement is a powerful medium for driving change in our communities: from improving public health to building leadership skills to bridging the divide between our differences, sport brings us together in many ways
“What does Care Creates Community mean?” — is a question we get asked a lot at Wimmer Solutions. It's more than just our motto, and it requires telling our full story to help explain what it means to us.
At its center, Care Creates Community focuses on fostering a culture of compassion, empathy, and connection both with and within the broader community. It's a program through which Wimmer employees and clients are encouraged to — and do — support a wide variety of nonprofit organizations through donations of “time, treasure, or talent.” And yes, we hope our all our clients and partners notice us for being so involved in the community — in fact, we hope they’ll join us on the journey and include us in their own.

We’re dedicated to building long-lasting partnerships with local & global Non-Profit Organizations. Our goal? To make a measurable impact on key issues, while inspiring our employees, clients, and other community members to give their own time, talents, and resources to causes they care about through a variety of programs.
We’ve worked extensively through a wide selection of programs – from grantmaking to pro bono services and skill based volunteer projects – and we are excited that through our work with each of them, we’ve been able to make a difference.

Wimmer Solutions supports our team members in their personal philanthropy through our charitable gift match program, which helps to make a greater impact on the issues, causes, and organizations our team members care about.
We match, dollar for dollar, up to $1000 USD per calendar year in contributions each of our employees makes to eligible 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations while employed with Wimmer Solutions.
