Wimmer Solutions placed in the top 100 2022 Best Workplaces in Washington state! The Puget Sound Business Journal's annual countdown of the state's top workplaces helps recognize companies whose employees have great things to say about them. Placing on the list is based on what our employees reported on PSBJ's survey, sent out earlier this year. The rankings of this list will be revealed and celebrated at the PSBJ Washington’s Best Workplaces event in August.
We can't wait to see how we rank out of Washington State's top 100!

Project Kenny won the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Grant! We would like to send out a massive 'Thank You' to everyone that took the time to vote and helped Project Kenny win the $25,000 grant. This amount will help them continue their work connecting service dogs to veterans in need. Out of the Top 200 eligible non-profits that made it to the voting process, we really appreciate the daily voting that it took for Project Kenny to become a finalist.
Project Kenny is a non-profit organization that was founded by our very own Wimmer Solutions CEO, Matt Sauri. Matt named the foundation after his dog, Kenny, who has since passed away. Kenny inspired Matt to find a way to provide trained canines to veterans suffering from PTS/PTSD.
"Kenny: you are missed, but you’ll never be gone. You’ll live forever through the lives you’ll have changed due to how special you were when you were here in the flesh. Thank you for all you’ve done for me and so many others. You see, my life isn’t easy, nor simple. But with your help, I got through it. The people we’re going to help, though, have had it much tougher than me. I wish I could give them a version of you, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do." – Matt Sauri
This cause is close to our heart, and we continue to try to support it as much as possible because of the great work it does. View their current work, donate, or find out more about them on their website. Visit ProjectKenny.org >>>
Meet our June Solution Spotlights
Wimmer Solutions HQ – Seattle, WA
As a Practice Director, Josh helps us straighten out all our business practices and delivery channels so we can put our best foot forward in all that we do. In Josh's time working with Wimmer Solutions (we just celebrated his 1 year anniversary in March!) his impact on our interior practices has been massive, effecting all departments, coworkers, and partners in the best way possible.
When Josh is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family. He has two boys under the age of six that keep him laughing and on his toes everyday. He's especially fond of running, and enjoys doing so around Tacoma, where he currently lives. He states, "it's a wonderful city with a lot of great vistas!"
Josh shared a few fun facts with us for his Spotlight:
- As a child, he was an extra in the Disney Musical Newsies
- Growing up, Josh lived all over the southwest US including Santa Fe New Mexico, Scottsdale Arizona, and San Diego California
- He loves to travel, make cocktails, and go to concerts
Thank you Josh! We're so happy to have you as a coworker and can't wait to see what great things are next for you!

Sunita is a Procurement Specialist with Microsoft, and has been working with Wimmer Solutions for 6 months. She has over 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, and she loves working with data (the more complex, the better!) Her current focus has been on standardizing processes, and helping with budgeting, project management, and financials. She has her Masters in Mathematics, having graduated at the top of her class at St. Francis College for Women.
Outside of work, Sunita loves to explore. She is interested in mountains and different cities. She enjoys digging into the culture and history behind each, but she is most interested in visiting ancient places. When she's not exploring, Sunita loves to hang out with her family, especially her husband, who travels extensively with work. She's happy to have him home when not on the clock, and is excited to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary next week!
A few more fun facts about Sunita:
- She's new to working out but loves that it energizes her!
- She enjoys cooking
- Sunita was extremely active in her school's debate competitions, where she won awards!

Escape Room Meet-Up | Seattle Team
The Wimmer Solutions Seattle Team took on the challenge of an escape room at Reality Break Escapes on May 11th.
Split into two teams, all team members raced the clock to escape their own puzzle laden room. Due to the fierce competitive spirit that developed between the two teams, we won't disclose which one won first, but we are proud that both teams successfully escaped before time was up!

Wimmer Solutions Celebrates its 20th Anniversary!
Wimmer Solutions celebrated 20 years in business on June 7th, 2022. For the occasion, an event was held at Emerald City Trapeze on June 9th, in the SODO district of Seattle. Employees, clients, and friends gathered to catch up and cheer to the continued health and success of Wimmer Solutions.
With a photo booth, floating appetizer bar, and over 75 guests in attendance, the time spent together was too short for the fun to be had. During a served dinner, guests watched Emerald City's Trapeze artists climb and twist on a silk rope attached from the ceiling.
Afterward, a short video was shown that introduced Wimmer Solutions' history, successes, and insights into our company. It concludes with well wishes from Wimmer Solutions employees across the world. See the video below.
The event continued with a speech from Matt Sauri, our founder and CEO. Matt's speech emphasized his passion for making Wimmer Solutions a company that focuses on the good it can do in the world. Dave Robson, Chief of Staff, continued the speeches to thank everyone for their hard work and to add more details about Wimmer Solutions over the years. Our night to celebrate 20 years in business may have concluded, but the spirit, goodwill, and connections we made from our time together will inspire us to look forward to the next 20 years under the Wimmer Solutions banner.

SASF Furry 5K | Seattle Team
The Seattle Team took part in the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation's Furry 5K on June 12 at Seward Park. The fun run and walk event was a success, with pups - and a few other furry friends - putting their best paws forward to help support a great cause. The 2022 Furry 5K soared past their $100,000 goal with help of participants, additional donations, and social media shares!
The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in thousands of stray and owner-surrendered animals each year. Many of these animals are in need of a new start, lots of love and often significant vet and behavioral care. Volunteers started the Furry 5K in 1999 to raise funds for the Seattle Animal Shelter’s veterinary needs. Proceeds from the Furry 5K go to the Seattle Animal Shelter's Help the Animals Fund to support care for the animals that need it most.
